What are heartbeat animals?

Our heartbeat animal collection allows you the opportunity to capture your little one’s heartbeat and sounds in an instant.

From baby showers, to gender reveal parties, to memorialization, or just because, our cuddly collections make the perfect gift for yourself, your family, or your friends!

When can I record my baby's heartbeat?

At each visit your baby’s heart rate will be checked using either a doppler or ultrasound. Let your provider know you have a heartbeat animal so they can make sure you have a chance to record your baby’s heartbeat.

Can I put something else on the recorder?

Yes! You can capture any sound on your recorder, such as your baby’s first words, a personal message. You could also ask your provider to do a quick doppler of your own heartbeat so your little one can snuggle up with the sound that soothed them throughout your pregnancy.

Choose your animal

Our staff is happy to show you which heartbeat animals we have in stock or you can take a look at our catalog to see if you're interested in a different one.

Recording

Remove the plastic tab from the side of the heart before recording. Turn the switch to “R” position and squeeze the heart to record. The LED light will remain on for the duration of your recording.

Playback

After recording, flip the switch from "R" to "P" position and squeeze to ensure the desired sound was captured. An LED will flash during playback.

Lock the Recording

Ensure your heart is in the "P" position. Lock your recording by squeezing the heart for 5 seconds until a "beep" is heard. The recording will be locked and a new recording cannot be captured until unlocked. To unlock your recorder simply squeeze the recorder while on "P" until you hear two beeps.
